Spring Romp Stream Stomp Event Recap
The Collective Spaces spring camping event was a success! Huge thanks to everyone who showed up to spend time together, enjoy the incoming spring, and explore our collectively-owned land. And thanks to recent rainfall, there was plenty of mud for us to play in.
Establishing trails
CS Members and friends continued to carve walking trails. There are now trails that extend from the front of the property down to the ponds and creek. In some places, the trails follow previously established routes that have become overgrown.

Exploring Sandy Creek
Near Sandy Creek, campers found a path that follows the course of the waterway. It looks like there is an area with relatively easy access to the water. In some areas, Sandy Creek is at least 50 feet wide. There are several islands within the creek in its wider points.
Peter and Rahela want to bring their kayaks to the property to see how much of Sandy Creek they can navigate. If you’re interested in joining them, keep an eye on the Collective Spaces Events page, or you can send them a message in our Discord.
Camping at Collective Spaces
Our camp sites are now available on HipCamp!
Camping at Collective Spaces is primitive, so bring in plenty water and food for your trip. There is lots of firewood available near campsites along with several established areas for campfires.
Campers have access to basic cooking supplies on site like pots and pans. In addition, there is a composting toilet for campers.
